So, I finally got around to installing Wordpress and setting up a new blog.

I would like to thank the 14,887,575 people who have gone before me.

Kind of like LA really, and the millions who have come and gone. With hopes and dreams they arrived, depression and despair they departed as the LA dream deserted them. For the allure of Hollywood is indeed strong and the opportunities to work in Vons when it all goes to shit are many.

If only there had been eBay in the 50s, the memorabilia market could have been worked by the real stars of a by-gone era and today, 10 year old kids wouldn’t be paying $1000 for an autograph.

I saw some fairly bad reviews of the Oscars coverage. I didn’t think it was too bad, but I’m not in LA at the moment, so I think it has more to do with me pining to be back there. It was amusing to see the cross to the news correspondant who had obviously had a few Chardonnays. I felt it gave me a bit of an insight into her drunk personality.
